Graphic Design Festival Poster

Graphic Design Festival Scotland is an annual graphic design event featuring a broad scope of design with events, submissions, and opportunities to experience a creative community. The objective was to feature the David Carson’s 2-day workshop along with the event information and description.

Amongst many works by Carson, I was intrigued by Carson breaking up the words and utilizing as a graphic element. Although Carson’s very first rule was to “not be controlled by grids and guides,” I’ve carefully weaved the information through the grids to interpret his works in my own way.
